This ticks all my boxes. A nineteenth century french domed gilt tole display piece with its foxed mirror. Intended for hanging with a wedding tiara. I have shown what it would have looked like in one of the images. Deep mulberry velvet cushion has faded in places with some tears but nothing serious. In my opinion it works just as well as a horizontal display dome for wonderful treasures.
