Antique religious picture.

An antique Catholic devotional  needlework, with embossed celluloid and a central image flanked by kneeling angels. I love the wirework highlights. 

The Dutch inscription reads “Praised and blessed be at all times the most holy and divine sacrament” referencing Pope Pius VI on March 24, 1776.

These commemorative needlework and relief panels were often made by nuns in their convents

The wooden frame has somd damage and losses but it is a lovely item. The pressed fern under the right angel is loose and dropped down down.
